what are you going to do?
As a Java Backend Developer, you will join a team that thinks out of the box and values smart innovation, and you will have the opportunity to make an impact on how the Netherlands travels, today and tomorrow.
- You will contribute to the architecture and quality of our systems
- You will design, program and implement backend applications. Then of course you test, manage and improve them.
- You will monitor the quality of code by means of code reviews and automatic testing and you will provide support during the going live of new functionality.
- You do not just execute assignments, but think along with us about the direction of our services.
- You come up with solutions to make sustainable shared transport even more accessible and user-friendly, which you and the team put into practice immediately
- You will maintain the team spirit, which is very important to us!

You are not just another Backend Developer. You are/have:
- A real team player
- Able to work independently
- At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Java software developer
- Experience with our tech stack: Java 17, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, gRPC, graphQL.
- Affinity with complex systems, together with your colleagues you are able to design and monitor the architecture of these systems.
- Quality is paramount and you feel responsible for the result you deliver.
- You have problem-solving skills and like to take the initiative. You do not shy away from a large application.
